I liked the large bath and the ice candies on the 8th floor, and the location was convenient. The place itself didn't feel cozy or fancy. The staff were kind, though getting towels was awkward: since I don't usually request room cleaning, I wanted towels ahead of time, but was told I'd have to pay. I wasn't even asking for extra towels the next day. 🤷♀️ The air purifier in the room also needs a cleaning.

For the price, I was satisfied, especially since it was a weekday in the off-season and the small room and bathroom didn't bother me much. The hotel faces a main road, so there's some traffic noise. There were lots of Korean guests, probably because of the location.

The front desk staff who showed me around at check-in were really nice, which makes the state of the room a shame. The bathroom exhaust fan was thick with dust, and there was limescale all over the stainless steel. The tub felt rough and didn't look like it had been washed. Mold covered the air conditioner's vent, and it wasn't working properly. When I opened the panel, I found the filter full of dust. I have no idea how long it had been since anyone cleaned it. The cleaning was awful, and they weren't even trying to hide how much they were cutting corners.

The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the hotel was clean, with a large public bath on the top floor and a free ice bar just outside it. I stayed for business, and the location worked well: it's near Matsuyama's downtown area, with a Lawson and Family Mart next door and bars easy to find. The building is newly built, and the price was reasonable for the quality, so I'd stay again if I had the chance. There were lots of Asian tourists there that day, and some seemed a little rude because they talked loudly. 😅
