It felt comfortable and welcoming, almost like a second home. The owner and landlady were so kind, and the thoughtful little details made the stay special. The live red sea bream and tempura ice cream were both delicious, and the bath was spacious and beautiful. My tatami room had a nostalgic feel, and I could really relax there. Thanks so much to the owner and landlady for looking after us so carefully. 💕 I’d love to return to this inn on another visit to Chita.

There are paintings of the bearded father all over the guesthouse! 😁 The website called it run-down, but I found it clean and comfortable. The food was delicious too, especially the pufferfish course I booked during the season. It was my first time trying pufferfish, and I really liked it. The bearded father and his wife were so kind and made me feel at home. My family enjoyed the stay as well, so I think we’ll come back when we visit Chita again. The dinner was so filling that my husband, who rarely says this, admitted he was full. We were surprised by how much seasonal food there was: fresh sashimi, grilled fish, big shrimp spring rolls, and oysters baked in foil. It was our first stay as a family of three, and the place felt like Grandma’s house. We were comfortable there, and having the spacious bath to ourselves made it easy to unwind.

The owner and his wife made us feel so welcome, and we had a relaxing wedding anniversary. We came for fresh seafood and got to enjoy sashimi served on a boat-shaped platter straight from the fish tank, still twitching. The grilled salt-flavored black sea bream tasted like a pro made it, with just the right amount of salt. I ate it without a second thought, haha. Thank you! We’ll definitely come back during pufferfish season.
