The view was awesome, and I loved the fresh air here. It's a very good hotel, about two hours from the airport.

The sunset is gorgeous and worth the trip, with lovely, muted views from this seaside hotel and onsen. You can have a course-menu dinner in a private dining room. Dinner and a soak sounds good. As spring and summer arrive, this is definitely a spot to consider for a vacation.

The meal prices, especially for dinner, don't match the service. I saw a similar comment on Trip Adviser. A female staff member took my dishes before I'd finished, at 6:50 p.m., just 20 minutes after I sat down. I swear I'll never come here again.

The atmosphere is relaxed, clean, and friendly, with beautiful sunsets. At night, there are zillions of trilobites and crabs on the little islands.

Watching the sunset from the room was amazing. I live outside Kumamoto now, but I'll never forget this place.
