Sunrise Awaji

We had a lovely time in the trailer house. We'd dreamed of living in one during our Australia trip, so it felt like that dream came true. You can also use the bath at the main hotel while staying there, which was nice. One tip: if you plan to prepare anything in the trailer, bring your own cutlery. We forgot ours and ended up using natural chopsticks!

A nice resort for getting away from city life.

Dinner was generous in portion and tasty, and breakfast was good too. I especially liked the fish and the ochazuke, rice with tea, which had a good broth. We stayed as a family of five. The room was spacious and comfortable, though there were no yukatas for the children, so we had to borrow them from the front desk. At the hot spring, the only downside was that the outside of the window hadn't been cleaned. The large windows made up for it, with a satisfying night view and sunrise. Thanks for the hospitality.

I'm local, and my daughter and I used to go to the park on the grounds when she was little. Our eco-cute water heater broke, so we had to find a day spa in a hurry, and this was her first time in the hot spring. The price was more affordable than other hot springs on the island. It was quite small, though, and there was no open-air bath. The women's side had the tub, three washing areas, a medicinal bath, a sauna and two hair dryers. My husband said the men's side had two washing areas, no sauna or medicinal bath, and one hair dryer. We almost had the bath to ourselves during our visit. The building is old, and even the changing room felt dated, but I appreciated being able to bathe in a relaxed setting since the day spas we usually visit are crowded. Afterwards we felt warm and our skin was smooth. We were still warm after getting home, and my daughter, who has poor circulation and usually cold hands and feet, stayed warm too.
