Umi No Yado Sahei

We had the whole floor to ourselves and could really unwind. The room looked out over the ocean, with a fantastic view, and the family could relax together in the bath. There were lots of shampoo and body soap options, which was helpful. Heavy snow the day before had us unsure whether we could make it. When we called, the landlady explained the conditions around the inn, so we felt at ease staying that day. She and the staff were very helpful, and the visit turned into a lovely family trip. We chose the meal with Echizen crab sashimi, and everything was delicious. We ate our fill of Echizen crab. 🦀 The kids want to go again, and we're really glad we found an inn the whole family enjoyed. Thank you to the landlady and staff. The food was absolutely delicious.

We had a relaxing family stay, and the place was ours alone that day. The bath was spacious with a great view, so we could take our time. Dinner was delicious, with boat-shaped platters, blackthroat seaperch, turban shells, and octopus rice. Breakfast was tasty too, though I was a little disappointed the grilled fish was salmon. I wish they'd served locally caught fish.

The rooms and toilets were spotless and comfortable, and I'd definitely like to come back. The proprietress was incredibly kind, honestly worth meeting on her own. Seafood delivered straight from the fishing port was fresh and superb. The crab was boiled just right and so well seasoned it was delicious even without crab vinegar.

I stayed here around this time last year too, right as crab season was getting started.
