The stay was expensive, but I thought it was worth it. Our room was simple and spacious, with a nice river view. The public baths were lovely, and I appreciated that they switched which baths were for men and women so we could try both. Dinner was a proper kaiseki meal with lots of courses. They also arranged pickup and return transport from Kurayoshi JR station.

Our room had a large, traditional private onsen, and I'd gladly stay here again. The staff were very friendly, the meal was amazing, and both public onsen felt beautiful and rejuvenating.

My favorite hot spring hotel so far. Highly recommend it.

A historic building with two different hot springs, one radioactive and one with a great view. The meal options were great, too.

The service was unrivalled, and they treated me like royalty. The chef is incredibly dedicated to his craft. The onsen is said to have healing radium properties.
