Right in the city center, so getting to restaurants, transport, and nightlife was easy. The hotel has a great view, a good room, and helpful service, plus standout facilities like the public bath and gym. Breakfast was pretty good too.

Lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and the staff speak English. I stayed for a week on a business trip, and the location made things very convenient.

The rooms are compact, as you'd expect at many Japanese business hotels, but they feel fresh and well kept after the 2024 renovation. The design is modern and the amenities have been updated. One thing to know, there's no iron or ironing board in the room, which can be a hassle if you need to press clothes for a business trip. You could ask the front desk whether they have one available on request. Hotel Terrace is right by Mito Station, with easy transport access and plenty to do nearby. The station complex has restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, shopping, and souvenir shops, so the location works well for both business and sightseeing.
