There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, which makes meals and shopping easy. JR-EAST HOTEL METS MITO is directly connected to Mito Station, so getting around is simple whether you're visiting for work or leisure. The rooms are modern and spotless, with a comfortable bed, good amenities, and a quiet atmosphere to relax in after a long day. The staff are polite, professional, and efficient, and check-in and check-out went smoothly. The hotel is well maintained and organized, with the high standards I'd expect from a JR-East property. For the comfort, convenience, and value, I'd happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Mito.

The bathroom was very clean and looked recently renovated, and the rooms were cozy and clean too. I first thought it was a drawback that there wasn't a lobby for breakfast, but eating at the station turned out to be convenient and gave us more options.

I’d stay again if I come back to Mito. The room was more spacious than most Japanese hotel rooms I’ve encountered, and the lobby had lots of free amenities: hair brushes, bath powders, skincare, plus the usual coffee, tea, and toothbrushes. The hotel is right outside the station, and I mean literally right outside.

The room was clean, with a setup similar to APA hotel. The best part is the location, surrounded by food options and close to shopping, trains, and buses. Our hotel was perfect for the hanabi at senba-ko, about a 20-30 minute walk away. Parking is charged by the day and can cost more than nearby lots. If you don't have much luggage, you could check in, pay the timed parking charge, then look for another place to park.

This feels like more than a 3-star hotel. The room is spacious, well renovated, and far quieter than at other hotels I've stayed in. There are lots of amenities to enjoy, and the staff service is excellent. I'd give it 4 stars or higher.
