The owners and their children have such wonderful personalities, and their adorable dogs and cats are part of the charm too. When our plans changed, we had to check out earlier than expected. We're really grateful they kindly accommodated our request, and sorry for the change. The inn has clear signs of wear, but that adds to the feeling of a place built with a lot of time and love on Miyakojima. We got to experience both the residential neighborhood and downtown and felt like island residents. It was a lovely change from staying somewhere sleek where you pass people without even saying hello. We shared a bit of ourselves and learned about Miyakojima. Hope the owners, dogs, and cats stay healthy on the island for a long time.

The owner was warm and helpful, and I loved the relaxed, homey feel. His cat and dog were adorable, too. The kitchen has plenty in it for cooking, and there's a big bath and an open veranda where you can unwind under the stars. Rental cars are available at reasonable prices, which made getting around easy. It's about a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport and roughly 30 minutes to the city center and main beaches, so sightseeing was convenient. I'd love to stay again when I'm back in Miyakojima. I felt at ease thanks to the staff's excellent service, and the stay was comfortable. I really liked that guests have access to a car rental option. I'd definitely use this place again when I visit Miyako.

The terrace outside is roomy enough for a group, and the room has two air conditioners. The bath towels were especially fluffy. It's also only about a ten-minute walk to the city center. I stayed four days and wished I could have made it ten.
