The location is great, close to Miyazaki Station and a supermarket. The hotel was so well kept that it was the most comfortable place I’ve stayed so far. I spent two nights in a Japanese-style room during the busy February baseball camp season, and the price was still lower than at other hotels, so I’m glad I chose it. There’s welcome shochu at the front desk, plus lots of things to borrow: a microwave, deodorizing spray, chargers, nail clippers, disposable chopsticks, and more. Even the front desk vending machine has low prices!

The rooms are spacious, though the desk is a little small. If you book a twin room by yourself, you’re allowed to use only one bed, and there’s just one set of towels and toiletries. It’s around a 5-8 minute walk from the station without waiting at traffic lights. The walk back toward the station feels quick, though the road is narrow and can be quite dark at night. The station area itself isn’t busy, but there are still a fair number of restaurants nearby. There seem to be only four floors, with fewer than ten rooms on each. The front desk staff are sparse and may be working in the back. There are two free washing machines and two free dryers, plus welcome sake and ice. The coin operated drink machine is very cheap.

I like Japanese-style rooms and often choose this place when I visit Miyazaki. The rooms are clean and good value, usually around 6,000-10,000 yen for two adults. The parking lot is small, and the bathroom is cramped since it’s a unit bath. It’s within walking distance of JR Miyazaki Station, which is handy when I need to pick up food or souvenirs in the morning without rushing. I’ll stay here again.

The room was comfortable and clean, and I was very satisfied. It was also convenient to have a parking lot, with the hotel near the station.

We picked this Japanese-style room because we were traveling with our one-and-a-half-year-old. It was clean, seemed recently renovated, and just the right size, with hardly any steps. There wasn’t a shoji screen and desk by the window like in a typical Japanese room, where a child could tear the screen or trip. Instead, the space flowed together, which felt safe, and our little one loved running around. Three fluffy futons were already laid out when we checked in. Our child was thrilled, diving into them and zooming around the room. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, too. I was glad the tamagoyaki was homemade, and even the chicken nanban was delicious. I could feed my child without worrying. Amusement Park and Aeon are nearby, and the staff we met were very friendly. Momo-chan, the goldfish at the front desk, was adorable too. (*´-`)
