We arrived really late on our motorbike, but the staff were waiting for us and got everything arranged, including a warm dinner. They were so attentive to our comfort. The room was great too, comfortable, nicely furnished, and with a lovely view. Awesome place and staff.

It’s about 40 minutes from Hitoyoshi Interchange, tucked among quite a few mountains and fields, and you really need a car to get there. We first visited during Golden Week. The owner was easygoing and very kind, and the food had gentle flavors that went well with drinks. There was a good range of drinks, including local shochu, and they were inexpensive, around 400 yen a glass. Maybe the hot spring source itself runs cool. They said they generally don’t offer the bath in the morning. I’d like to visit again.
