SKY Villa Toyohara

It's peaceful and quiet here, with almost nothing nearby. The rooms are spacious, and pet-friendly rooms are available, so people with pets can enjoy their stay. There's a kitchen area for cooking, plus a garden with a wooden table that looks ideal for a BBQ, though I'm not sure whether BBQs are allowed. Churaumi Aquarium and the beach are only a short drive away, which was another plus.

Five friends went for three days and two nights. The building was clean and looked much like the booking site photos, and the beds, futons, and room were generally clean too. Some things became apparent during the stay. The coffee maker listed as an amenity wasn't there, and the frying pans and other cooking gear looked heavily used, which might bother some people. The old living room air conditioner drips water into puddles. When it rains, lots of snails gather in the courtyard trees and by the entrance, which is pretty gross and seems like it needs attention. We also saw several baby geckos inside. At first glance everything seemed fine, but we noticed a few issues as we stayed.

The pool was beautifully looked after, and the lights at night gave the villa a romantic feel. We couldn't swim because of the season, but enjoyed the bath, relaxing in the hot water and looking at the greenery in the garden and terrace. Afterward, we toasted with the complimentary beer from the fridge. It took us just over an hour to drive from Naha Airport. The entrance was incredibly stylish, and opening the villa door to find a pool was such a surprise. The rooms were spacious, and families with children could have a unique, memorable stay. This hidden gem is also near Churaumi Aquarium. I'd love to come back on my next Okinawa trip. Thank you!
