The receptionist was really nice, and I do like this place: it’s affordable, spacious and quiet. The mold problem is a real shame, though, and it ruins a lot of the potential. The shower has no wall separating it from the room, so moisture spreads everywhere. With the odd papery wall texture and furniture that feels like cardboard IKEA pieces, it seems like a perfect setup for black mold. The main fix might be a stronger vent in the shower to pull the moisture out before it reaches the rest of the room. They could also consider swapping the cardboard furniture for plastic and replacing the wall material, which seems to catch mold easily. As other reviews have pointed out, it’s a frustrating waste of potential. The real problem seems to be whoever designed the toilets to turn the room into a ghastly humidifier.

The location was great, but the room was in such rough shape that it felt close to needing condemnation. There was mold and filth, and I was glad I stayed only two days. The price felt high for what I got. This place needs to be shut down and rehabilitated.

Sesoko Island is incredibly beautiful, and the hotel was comfortable and had all the amenities. The people working there were gentle. The only thing is, you may need to cover the curtains for the toilet.

There was so much mold, and the place felt bad. I had to turn off the AC because the unit was filthy. Even at a cheap rate, the stay wasn't worth dealing with all that mold. It's all cleanable, but nobody seems to have done anything in a while, and it shows.

I liked the hotel's location and style, but the facilities are getting dated and need maintenance. The walls are peeling, and the shared areas look dark and damp. It'd take some work to bring the place back to its former glory.
