Hilton Okinawa Sesoko Resort

The balcony view was perfect, and watching Saturday night’s fireworks from there was wonderful. I loved the room. The indoor pool was open, which I was glad about, since the outdoor pool and beach were closed for swimming. There was a playground with sports and games, but only on Saturday. I couldn’t use the gym because children weren’t allowed in, which was a bummer. I wasn’t planning to leave the area, since I’ve already done other things around Okinawa, but I wish the resort had more activities. There isn’t much nearby unless you have a car or take a taxi. Breakfast was good, though it was pretty much the same each day. No one explained on the first morning that my card included a special drink or food, so I only found out the next day when the woman showed us to our seats. The Italian restaurant was good. The grill restaurant was just okay.

We picked Hilton Sesoko Resort for our first Motobu visit because we wanted to explore the north and stay on an island within walking distance of a beach. After four nights, we’d visit again. The room and service were excellent. The room was cozy, with a balcony and sea view, plenty of space for our luggage, and a large bathroom. The shower and bathtub were separate, as were the toilet and bathroom. Parking costs JPY1,500 per night, with a discount for Hilton members.

We’d happily stay here again. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The Executive Lounge had plenty of food and drinks to choose from. The beach is very close and great for snorkeling, and the view is fantastic.

I came away enjoying the stay so much that I’m considering becoming loyal to Hilton. Breakfast was the standout: the buffet had enough variety and quality for me, my husband, and my son, even though we all like completely different things in the morning. Late March was lovely in Okinawa. The forests were green and lush, and the air was cool and breezy, just refreshing. The resort felt peaceful, the staff were kind, and the facilities were solid. The coin laundry and gym were convenient. There was no detergent dispenser in the laundry, but I’d already bought some at a nearby convenience store, so that worked out. The airport is a bit far, so we rented a car and explored at our own pace. We also went to Iejima, which made for a wonderful little break from the main island. I’d happily return to the Hilton Okinawa Sesoko Resort, and to a Hilton hotel again.
