Our long road trip around Okinawa, including the islands and outlying islands, was much more pleasant thanks to Okinawa & Japan Hotel, "Beautiful Seaview Hotel" (Ocean View House Beautiful Sea Long-Stay Guest Room). The accommodation was clean, comfortable, safe, and convenient, with free parking and WiFi. The room is small but attractive and fully equipped, and it’s a good choice if you want to cook your own food. There’s a bedroom, living room, wardrobe, kitchen with pots, bowls, ladles, basins, plates, cups, knives, and forks, refrigerator, bathroom, basic toiletries, toilet, trash can, washing machine, and a balcony with daytime sea views. Room amenities include air conditioning, a double bed, sofa, table, TV, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, double-port gas stove, range hood, washing machine, clothes rack, iron, ironing board, clothes hanger, flashlight, and hair dryer. The toilet has a bidet and toilet paper. The bathroom has shower gel, shampoo, and wet shampoo, with strong water pressure for a quick, convenient shower. Check-in is 15:00 - 21:00 and check-out is by 10:00. Late check-out costs ¥5,000 for 30 minutes or ¥10,000 for 60 minutes, and guests should stick to the check-out time because cleaning staff start at 10:00 AM. There’s a house booklet in the room, which guests should read on arrival. Only booked guests may use or enter the facilities. The access road is quite narrow. If you’re driving and aren’t confident behind the wheel, getting there can feel nerve-racking.
