Vacation Stay in Sesoko Island

The room was spacious, clean, and well looked after, and we could feel the owner's thoughtfulness throughout our stay. My fiancé and I spent one night without meals, and it was a really special experience. The owner offered drone photos as soon as we arrived. My fiancé had booked, but I knew nothing about drone photography and even he only vaguely remembered it. We hesitated, then saw a sample and were impressed enough by the quality to try it. We decided at the last minute with no plan at all, but the careful instructions made the shoot go smoothly. The finished sample video was beyond what an amateur could make, and they also gave us the raw footage. We'd like to come back and try a plan with meals.

The staff were lovely with our kids, who were excited to go play with their uncle while I got ready. We were treated to delicious Okinawa soba on New Year's Eve, and the nearby restaurant's bento breakfast was tasty too. We got a drone video of our family that became a special memory. The hotel is handy for Churaumi Aquarium. The room was clean and the bed so fluffy that my husband said it was the most comfortable place he'd ever stayed. During a multi-night visit, they don't clean the room or provide pajamas, but they do give fresh towels. The rooftop had a beautiful starry sky, though the view from the pitch-black road a short walk away was even more spectacular. We stayed two nights over New Year's and hope to come back in summer to enjoy Sesoko Beach. We'd definitely stay again. Thanks for the hospitality! (^^)

We spent two nights and three days here, choosing the hotel because we thought it would suit children. Instead, we found a huge number of ants in the room, possibly termites or something. They swarmed any food we left out, and even reached the futon where our child was sleeping. I'd never encountered anything like it at a hotel. The place looked like it might be good quality, but the room itself was unbelievably poor. The owner needs to address the ants with proper repairs, not just insecticide or traps. Breakfast bento boxes were provided each morning, which was a nice gesture, but the menu was the same every day and the morning tempura was tough. We left food behind every day except the first. The drone filming was scheduled right before checkout and made us worry about catching our flight. If it's offered as a service, it should be arranged properly in advance. Honestly, it was more hassle than help. We did enjoy seeing the Hilton fireworks. But if that's what you're after, staying at the Hilton would definitely be better.

The rooftop fireworks were a nice touch. Since we stayed on a Saturday, we could see the Hilton's display from up there, whatever the season. The complimentary rooftop barbecue for guests staying several nights was also welcome, and the night view photos turned out well. I was told I'd receive drone footage, but when I contacted them later on Instagram, I got no reply and never received the video. Cleaning didn't interrupt our privacy, though I did have to take out my own trash. The room was reasonably clean, and after three nights I felt the place was a decent base for northern Okinawa. I wasn't dissatisfied overall, but I probably wouldn't stay again. Thank you.
