Our room for four had tatami beds, with belongings filling every corner. There was no clear way to get to the toilet and bathroom, or even to put our luggage. When we raised it with staff, he insisted there was nothing he could do except book us another room at a higher rate. Such disappointing service. I wouldn't recommend staying.

We stayed overnight and left early. It was neither especially good nor bad, just good value for the money. There are Japanese and Western style rooms, though they’re small and a little cold in winter. Service was good, and everything you need is free at reception. There’s a drug store nearby with food and other things you might need. They have cheap fruit, so I recommend going there.

The room was bigger than I expected, and both it and the bathroom were quite clean. There was a slight old hotel smell when we entered, maybe because the room used to be a smoking room, but it wasn’t too bothersome. The bathroom was a little cramped, though clean. Free breakfast is served from 6:30am to 9:30am. It doesn’t stand out, but the place is easy enough to find on Google Maps. We needed somewhere for one night, and it was affordable compared with other places we looked at then. Free parking was available. I can’t complain.

The rate was very good, and it included free parking, breakfast, and amenities like bath salt.

I don’t understand the hate in some of the other reviews. This hotel is good, with free breakfast, laundry facilities, and rooms that have adequate heating.
