We stayed 8 nights at Ringo Jam in Feb 2026, and it’s an easy place to recommend. The breakfasts and dinners were tasty, with lots of choice, and a cold beer on tap was welcome after a day on the snow. Nat and Dan were magnificent, keen to hear about our day skiing. Peter’s service was top shelf. He gave us a lift each morning to Chill Snow hire and arranged the 3 day passes without any trouble. The location is an easy walk from the main facilities, and even closer to restaurants and the grocery/booze store.

The staff were lovely, especially Nat, Dan and Jamie. Madarao runs are within walking distance, and the lodge can drop you off and pick you up as needed. Food choices up on the hill are a bit limited. I spent a week here with a group skiing at several resorts. The accommodation is comfortable, though it could use a bit of a spruce up, and the lodge has all the amenities you need for skiing.

Pete and the crew were fabulous and so accommodating, and it felt like home. Our family of 10 stayed for 5 nights and had awesome hospitality. The location made getting to the ski fields easy and hassle free. Love Madaroa, we’ll be back.

Ringo Jam worked out fantastically for our family. The western buffet breakfast kept everyone happy, and there were clean, comfortable rooms and plenty of shared spaces. The massage chair was a hit! Pete, Libby, and the whole team were always around and ready to help, whether that meant a lift up the mountain or arranging dinner reservations. Great location, and thanks for a great stay.

Dan and Nat treated us especially well, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Ringo Jam is a clean, comfortable, welcoming lodge with a relaxed feel, conveniently placed for the slopes and a good selection of restaurants. Thanks, Pete!
