Maru was an amazing host, spoke great English, and even picked us up at the station and drove us to her place. It's actually an easy walk from the station. The house was incredibly clean and had everything we needed, including laundry facilities. There are lots of musical instruments around if you play. We had a great stay, and Maru also suggested some nice restaurants and places to visit nearby. Highly recommended.

The house is great, and the host was excellent, helpful, and spoke English well. Just keep in mind the beds are upstairs. There's a Lawsons nearby, and it's an easy walk to the train and restaurants. The laundry facilities are great too. Highly recommended.

Maru was the standout, so helpful that she even walked with us to the train station to help us buy tickets. We loved staying here. The place was comfortable, and bars, restaurants, the train, and the fish market were all an easy walk away.

I'm so glad we stayed here at the end of our Kumano Kodo trip. It's a welcoming home and a chance to experience an authentic Japanese house, which feels quite different from staying in hotels or Ryokans.

After coming here from Kumano Kodo, we were pleasantly surprised. The house is beautiful and the service was great. We wished we could have stayed longer to rest here. I'd give it more stars if I could.
