We stayed one night as a group of five adults, and the place felt pretty spacious to me. Cleanliness was our main priority, and everything was spotless, even the washing machine. The only drawback was that the car park was a little far away.

The rooms were modern, clean and quiet, and the location is great. But the check-in system was awful, enough to take two stars off my service rating. This is an automated hotel, which is fine if the process works and the English explanations are clear. Here, the tablet's audio was so faint you could barely hear it, and there was no warning that the reservation would stay locked until the 800 yen tourist tax was paid. For five people, entering everything is a pain, especially when Expedia already has the details. First you scan the QR code on the tablet, pay the tax, enter your phone number, booking number and personal information, then click through five screens of house rules before you finally get a room number and entry code. The whole thing was really frustrating.

The rooms are huge, with plenty of sleeping space, and the price is reasonable. It's very clean and close to great restaurants and shopping streets in Nagasaki. You can easily walk to Dejima, magane bridge and Nagasaki wharf. Coin parking right next door cost roughly 20 CAD for a week.
