Hostel Casa Noda

The staff were great, and the communal area was comfortable and roomy enough for the usual number of guests. The bunks were clean and comfortable, with basic toilet and shower facilities nearby, one of each for every eight bunks. Casa Noda is close to the station, so it’s easy to reach, and the ferry terminal, shops, restaurants, and big shopping centers are nearby too. I found the price too high for what you get. It was an event weekend, so I assumed that had pushed the rate up, and it had, but other dates still looked too expensive to me. There was only a small cube for belongings, rather than the lockable cupboard for a hand luggage-sized bag I’ve found in other hostels, so security felt a bit lacking. There’s no lift, and you have to climb several flights of stairs to reach the communal area or bunks. The shower button timed out quickly, so you’ll probably need one hand to keep pressing it while you wash. I was close to neutral, but the cost tipped me toward a negative review. I could live with the small issues if the price were reasonable, but I think it’s too much for what they provide.
