Hotel Sainthill Nagasaki

I wasn't using the guest rooms this time, since we came for a thank-you party banquet. I had reserved and bought a New Year's feast at the end of last year and found it a bit disappointing, so my expectations weren't high this time either. The building is tidy and well-kept, and there's no real issue with staying there. It's close to Nagasaki Station, which is convenient, and I had a fairly good impression of the staff's attitude. Still, the food wasn't worth the price. The dishes were arranged well, and the serving order and presentation were comparable, but the food felt like it was all appearance. I don't think I'd choose to stay there myself.

We held a memorial service here. The building looked old and worn, but it was clean. The kaiseki meal was very well seasoned overall, and the sashimi stood out for its crunchy freshness. The cooking had a retro-modern feel too.

The room was so thoroughly cleaned that it really impressed me. The facilities aren't new, but I think the staff's daily effort is what keeps the rooms this clean. I also liked being able to choose my shampoo. I had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much.

There aren't any guest rooms available. The location is handy, just a few minutes on foot from the station, with lots of paid parking spaces nearby. The hotel is mostly used for social gatherings, but the food quality doesn't match the price. I hope they improve it.
