My fiance and I had a wonderful time at the Sloope. The hosts were lovely, the view was unforgettable, and the place was very spacious. The ten minute walk up and down the hill was worth it for the view, and also felt like an important part of experiencing everyday life in Nagasaki.

The hill is worth the climb for the great view at The Sloope. Masa and Koji were welcoming and very nice hosts. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it if you're in Nagasaki!

Getting around here means tackling a steep hill every day, so you really need strong legs. The place also feels eerie, with graveyards all around it.
