Great location, and the room smelled nice. The balcony was comfortable, and the room was in excellent shape for the price. You could tell they paid attention to hygiene. I couldn’t find any downsides.

It’s handy for Meio University and Pineapple Park, with a convenience store nearby and free parking. The room was spacious and had two beds. We were three people, but the futons were so thin it felt like sleeping right on the floor, and my back started hurting. There’s no bathtub, so it won’t suit anyone wanting a long, relaxing bath.

There’s no front desk, and I found the place hard to locate. When I arrived, I had to ask someone at a ramen shop to call the owner so I could get the key. Checkout was just leaving the key in a keypad box, and I never saw anyone. I think foreign tourists could easily be confused about what to do. The building is directly across from a pineapple orchard. I’d suggest the owner use the Agoda or Booking chat more often to reply quickly. I’d been trying to reach them for an hour without hearing back. I hope this helps anyone thinking of booking.

Two days before my stay, I asked through the booking site to change the date, but nobody replied. I booked another hotel and tried to cancel this one, but by then I’d missed check-in time, so cancellation wasn’t allowed and I had to pay the full price. The website said communication had been difficult because I was a foreigner. Given the location and property, I didn’t think the price was especially low, and the whole thing felt like a high-risk booking. The other hotel cost less and I could communicate with them, so I’ll chalk this up to bad luck and move on.
