Business Hotel Apple

Near Nakamura City Hall station, and inexpensive. Not a bad place to stay.

The staff were lovely and the hotel was clean, even though the building is old.

It's cheap, close to the station and convenience store, and I liked that I could check in without running into anyone since nobody was at the front desk. You can smoke there, and the hair dryer had good airflow. The slippers were falling apart, though, and the cigarette smell had soaked into the room. No hand soap, and I wished they'd had a comb with the amenities. It didn't feel especially clean either. I don't pay much attention to facilities, smells or cleanliness when I only need a place to sleep, so I thought it was totally fine. If you're more sensitive about those things, I'd pay extra for somewhere better. I really liked the location and would stay here again when I visit Nagoya.

The only real plus was the low price. The place is very old, so it may suit people who don't mind that, and the train ride from Nagoya Station is quick, just one stop. I booked thinking I'd only be there for the night. The listing said parking was available, but when I called to ask, they told me there wasn't any and that there were plenty of lots nearby. Check before booking. I won't stay again.
