Kikunoya Hanare

The best Airbnb option in Nagoya, in my opinion. The one downside was the terrible in-room wifi connection.

We were in town for a live concert and stayed here with my family from Nagano. It was clean, close to the station, and had all the equipment we needed. Family Mart is also an easy walk away. They’re starting to rent out whole buildings nearby, so I’d like to try one next time. I’d definitely recommend the place! 😄✨🩷🍒🍒

We stayed as three adults with our dog, and the dog amenities were so complete that they even had a cage. I was glad we could sleep together on the first floor futon, since we usually share a bed and I didn’t want the dog to feel lonely. Upstairs had a fun hideaway feel, and we could relax in the historic Japanese-style house. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, and there was a washing machine too, so it seems well suited to a few nights with friends. The owner was friendly and helpful, and happily suggested some good restaurants. Thanks so much!

The retro light switches and wiring are a fun detail in this charming old house, which you can rent in its entirety. The old beams and layout, what we think is antique-patterned glass, and modern wallpaper all work really well together. The bathroom has been beautifully renovated, and it looks like the house could also work for private cooking parties. There’s a large refrigerator, which seems handy for anyone who likes preparing their own meals for their dogs. They also seem to welcome guests with pet dogs and have lots of dog amenities.
