Nikko Style Nagoya

We stayed here twice in December 2025 and had a very pleasant time. The staff were professional, courteous, and helpful, sharing food tips and even helping us get a dinner reservation when we couldn’t book one ourselves. Our rooms were clean, modern, and had everything we needed. We especially liked the big windows and the view from the higher floors. The hotel is smaller than some, which kept the lobby from feeling hectic. It’s not right in the main shopping area, but Nagoya Station and Yanagibashi Central Market, a good breakfast stop, are still an easy walk away. On the road trip between our stays, we could pull up briefly at the entrance to load and unload the rental car, and the hotel kindly kept one suitcase for us while we were away. We’d definitely recommend it as one of Nagoya’s better places to stay.

Nagoya Station and public transport are both within walking distance, which made getting around convenient. The service was friendly and helpful throughout. My room was spacious, with a sofa and coffee table, and its modern décor included local details. Even the bath products, tea, and coffee were local. I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet’s broad mix of Japanese and Western dishes, especially the Japanese sweets that changed each day. The lobby coffee shop also served several excellent coffees, made with a blend from a local roaster especially for the hotel.

We had a lovely two-night stay. The room had space for two large suitcases opened out, and the lighting felt bright but relaxing. We ate breakfast outside once and at the hotel once, and enjoyed both. The front desk and restaurant staff were very nice. The walk to Nagoya Station and the metro takes 10-15 minutes, which was the one downside. I’d stay at Nagoya Style again next time.

The room was comfortable, thoughtfully arranged, and well equipped, and the reception team left a warm, attentive impression. It’s an excellent hotel. The main thing to plan around is the walk from Nagoya Station, about 12 minutes. It may look close, but uneven sidewalks make the trip harder with large bags, especially when checking in or out. If you’re traveling light, it’s unlikely to be a problem. With heavier luggage, arranging transport ahead could make arriving and leaving easier.
