Usatsuno Osu Hostel

For a city with few budget places, this is a great option. It’s clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the hosts are friendly, speak English, and have everything well organized. The subway and Kanayama are both within walking distance. A simple place at a good price.

The wife makes breakfast, and it was tasty and healthy. The owners are nice, and the husband is quite talkative in a good way. It’s a small hostel run by a family or couple. The house is clean and the bed comfortable, though the place is a little cramped and doesn’t have enough little accessories by Japanese hotel standards.

We stayed in a dorm for three nights, and everything was kept in impeccable shape, really clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We arrived before check-in hoping to leave our bags, but they had our beds ready early and checked us in, which was unexpected and much appreciated. The beds are comfortable. The ladder to the top bunk can make a little noise, but it wasn’t much of an issue, and earplugs are provided. We had a great stay and would come back. Thank you very much！

I stayed for ten days and had a delightful time. The place is clean and has pretty much the necessities. Kyo & Yumiko were so friendly and kind, and made me feel at home throughout my stay. I’m very grateful for their warm hospitality. They even treated me to a one-time breakfast, which was delicious, and drove me to my next accommodation in the rain because I had heavy luggage. So thoughtful, and I’m very grateful. Thank you very much! It’s within walking distance of Osu. If you’re after somewhere inexpensive, clean, comfortable, and convenient, please consider staying here. You won’t regret it.
