I've travelled around mainland Japan, including Tokyo and Kansai, and this was my first really bad accommodation experience here. I lost my key and was locked out for the night. When I asked for a replacement, they wanted ¥20,000 outside Airbnb. These people are scammers, and I've reported them to Airbnb. Given all the increased restrictions the Japanese national government has put on citizens and foreigners, you'd think they'd try to clean up Okinawa Prefecture.
