The room was spacious, and the guest toiletries were nice. I remember slippers, tea, toothbrushes, toothpaste, face cream, and a comb. There weren't any washcloths, so bring your own. The views were great despite the construction, and the price was good. The location worked well for us because we needed to catch the ferry for a snorkeling trip.

The room was huge compared with places downtown, and my old parents liked having all that space. They didn't like that the sink was outside the bathroom, though. To me, the modern style seems best for younger people or travelers who enjoy that kind of design. The hotel is artistic, modern, and beautiful, with clean, new facilities and great service, and seems suited to couples and younger guests. We had a car, which I recommend for staying here. The drive from Kokusai-dori took around ten minutes, but parking is limited. We only found a space on the first day. We got back late the next day and there weren't any left. You pay the parking fee at checkout, and need to register your license plate at reception when checking in. Breakfast is a bit pricey, over 2000 yen, and is mostly local Japanese food with some bread. Since the hotel is far from the city center, paying for breakfast here is okay if you're in a rush for the day.

We really like the balcony and the harbour views, with all the activity going on. The room is small, of course, but works very well. We're walkers, so the bus stops being a few blocks away is fine. The boat terminal is close enough to walk to for trips to the nearby National Park Islands. We buy yogurt and fruit at grocery stores nearby and keep it in the little room fridge. Staff fully clean the room every two days. And it has English Netflix! That's not something we've had elsewhere in Japan.

The Art concept room was stunning, modern, clean, and decorated like a work of art. I loved the big tub looking out over the bridge and water. The view and room felt peaceful and tranquil. The service left me feeling unwelcome. Right after checking in, I brought drinks from a convenience store, and the barista/front desk woman wearing glasses shouted a rude remark that outside food and drinks weren't allowed in the cafe. That felt absurd and rude. I also had to pay a $30 advance fee that I couldn't use. Really disappointing service.
