Even if Sanrio isn't your thing, the reasonable price and handy location make this hotel worth considering. Fans can book a room themed around their favourite character, and the rooms are spacious. Guests get complimentary ice cream, plus 5% off purchases at the ground-floor shop. There are also some souvenirs sold only in Okinawa, which is a nice bonus for visitors.

The room's hygiene was really disappointing, especially for what this hotel costs. I found small blood marks on the sheets, and my friend saw insects jumping on the bed, so I wondered if there could be bed bugs. On my second day, I was bitten by bugs I couldn't identify. I ended up with lots of red, swollen spots all over my body, and they were very itchy and painful.

We had a great time in the My Melody themed room because my wife is a huge My Melody fan. I wish we could've looked around the other rooms and taken photos, but of course that wasn't possible. You can pick up souvenirs in the lobby, and hotel guests can shop there anytime, even at 24 hours. The monorail stop is close by, too. If you love Sanrio, staying here would feel like a dream.

The rooms were really comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. When we arrived, they gave us a small gift, an ice cream cone, and a personalized room key. There's also a good selection of things in the lobby, including coffee capsules. The hotel's right on Kokusaidori, which is a great location.

The My Melody room was one of the best parts, and everything else was extremely fun. But I was trying to sleep when some random guy kept knocking on my door. I told him to leave and he said okay. Then, an hour later, he came back and said, “I know who you are.” I was really, really creeped out.
