HOTEL Viviana

I really like this lovely place. If you're visiting Okinawa, it's one you shouldn't miss.

It was a clean, spacious apartment in a quiet area, and the elevator took you straight to your floor. The bed and pillows were very firm, though, and the shower felt small.

I've stayed at Viviana dozens of times and usually have a comfortable stay. I visit Okinawa at least five times a year, and the location is great, the rooms are spacious, and I'd never had a problem before. This time was different: I booked a twin room through Agoda, but got a room with four beds, and the bath had no hot water. A bath without hot water is unacceptable to me. I was also confused when no room code arrived after booking. I contacted the customization center and that issue was sorted out. Please be aware that the second-floor family room has no hot water. Given the room mismatch and cold bath, I'll give this stay an I rating.

We booked two nights, but the next morning at 10 AM housekeeping opened our door using the code. Thankfully, we'd locked it. They thought we were leaving after one night, so we had to change rooms after staying two nights in a row. Once we'd moved our luggage and were ready to switch, the code had already been changed. We waited 30 minutes before customer service gave us the new one. The following day we woke up late and arranged with customer service to check out around 12 PM for an extra charge, which we accepted. Still, the door was opened around 10 AM. Customer service apparently hadn't told housekeeping about the late checkout. Housekeeping called another representative, who refused to let us stay and rudely ordered us out right away. A terrible experience. I strongly advise people not to stay here.
