This is more like a serviced apartment, with a kitchen, so it works well for longer stays. There’s a supermarket, 7/11, and Daiso within a five-minute walk. The self check-in is easy, and the place is pretty spacious. It’s affordable and centrally located. This is my second stay, and I’d recommend it for couples or small families.

We stayed at Hotel 2020 for 10 days. They charged us ¥10,000 quickly for a parking spot, but the first night we went out, someone else was in it when we came back. We spent an hour and a half calling several numbers before being told to use a different spot. That time we got an apology email for the runaround. Near the end of our stay, it happened again. After waiting 30 minutes, they told us to find paid parking and they’d reimburse us. It was pouring rain, and we had several packages to carry. This time there wasn’t even an apology email, and we haven’t heard anything since. I suspect the promise to reimburse me was just to get me off the phone. There seems to be no one local to look after customers, and Hotel 2020 has no procedure to make sure your parking spot is available. The room was clean, new, and a good size. They didn’t offer a plan for fresh towels, which would have been nice. If you don’t have a car and just need a clean, spacious room, I’d recommend Hotel 2020.
I couldn’t check in because Toni’s customer service was so bad. He doesn’t speak English, wouldn’t transfer the call to someone else or call me back, and kept repeating the same information instead of helping. I wasted hours trying to sign in and check in, with no passcode. I really regret choosing this place. The location was noisy even with the windows shut, the bathroom stank, and the room hadn’t been cleaned properly. Terrible service. Don’t stay here, you’d be better off in the street.
We stayed for four nights (2/3 of the month). Before check-in, staff emailed instructions, but left out basic details like where the entrance was and whether there was parking. We only found the entrance by asking the architecture office on the first floor. We then learned in the elevator that the first floor wasn’t the hotel’s parking, so we had to find parking elsewhere. Fortunately, I found a lot nearby for about 500-600 yen per night. The room was spacious for two, though it would feel cramped with four people, and the facilities were fairly complete. Still, there were no slippers, no toothpaste or toothbrush, and just one set of towels for the whole stay. Extra towels cost 1000 yen per set. There was no washing machine, but luckily there’s a self-service laundry downstairs. The kitchen could use another table between the sink and wardrobe for cooking and the microwave. Most of all, the mattress was completely worn out. I could feel the springs sticking out when I lay down, making it hard to sleep. A replacement is important if guests are to get a good night’s rest. If I return to Okinawa, I probably wouldn’t consider staying here again.
The location is great, with Daiso, a supermarket, gas station, and lake park nearby. A taxi to major tourist attractions costs less than 1,200 yen. Parking is free, 1,000 yen per day, with designated spaces. You have to clean the room before checking out. They provide two small towels and one large one per person, no matter how many nights you stay. They even take out the trash and clean up... Ugh.
