The curtains could have been cleaner, but everything else was spotless, including the washing machine and dryers, with no odor or lint. I’ve stayed at more than 20 hotels around Japan, and this is easily one of the cleanest, probably in my top 3. I expected it to be fairly clean because the rooms are unusually spacious and the concept is different, but the cleaning team did an excellent job. The reception staff were just as impressive, helping me a lot and being genuinely kind. I’d rate the stay 10/10 and highly recommend it.

I was here for two nights for the annual Naha Marathon. Runners get free bananas from the hotel, which was a thoughtful touch, and the start and finish are just a ten-minute walk away. The neighborhood has plenty of restaurants and feels lively. There’s a Lawson convenience store right across from the entrance. I’d recommend this place to friends visiting Okinawa.

At 2:30 a.m. on July 7, the hotel fire alarm went off. It took until 3:10 a.m. for them to say it was a false alarm. During that time, just one security guard and a front desk staff member were dealing with it.

It’s a decent place, in a convenient spot near the monorail. The room was clean, quiet, and a normal size by Japanese standards. I appreciated the washing machine that also dries, plus the fridge and microwave, and the staff were nice. The bed was really hard for me, and I didn’t find the pillow comfortable either. For breakfast, I’d rather go to Lawson. They just give you the same food to microwave yourself.

The location is great. The room was on the small side, and there was no coffee. It had a washing machine, and the kitchen wasn’t really suited to cooking much, but it worked fine for my 3 nights.
