The first room smelled of mold. Staff wouldn't move us until the tour company owner called, and the next room was only sort of adequate. The amenities are minimal, the building is clearly old and poorly maintained, and the breakfast was bad. The food quality was terrible. I don't recommend this hotel at all.

The air conditioner isn't positioned well and doesn't cool adequately. Early morning sun makes the rooms too bright from 4am, and crosswalk music starts playing continuously at 6am.

The rooms are large, and the hotel is right by the monorail station, with a Lawson's convenience store downstairs. It's at the end of the main shopping and dining street. Breakfast costs ¥1000 for the 7-8:30am serving, which is rather expensive and not very good, so don't pay extra for it.

The staff were nice, the location was great, and breakfast was awesome. The strong cigarette smell in the rooms did bring my score down a bit.
