It's in a good spot, with excellent service and clean rooms that have the facilities you need. There's also a nice indoor onsen.

Friendly, attentive reception staff and reasonable prices make this a good option for a longer stay. It's an old, large youth hostel, not super cheap, but well equipped and convenient for safety and getting around. Credit cards are accepted, and it's near convenience stores, bus stops, the monorail, and the airport. Since it's in a park, it's quiet. Downtown is walkable, and the post office is just across the river near the monorail. The laundry rooms are separated by gender, and home delivery is available. Individual guests can join groups for breakfast, though dinner is only offered to groups. Food and drinks are available in designated areas on the first floor, where they even have Nescafe Dolce Gusto. I'd recommend it for its convenience and safety.

Traditional youth hostels are becoming less common across the country. Their original ideals were good, but lately it's been hard for them to draw guests with budget dorms and other options competing for travelers. Still, they offer a decent level of facilities and a reasonable standard of fellow travelers, so the experience can be better than the price suggests. Compared with hotels that cost tens of thousands of yen, they're a welcome alternative. Why not give one a try for a night?

We were there yesterday for a school trip. The room fit all seven of us comfortably, and the food was delicious. It’s close to Kokusai Street, too. The service was excellent, and we left with some wonderful memories 😊

I’m posting again because I still wouldn’t recommend this place. On our school trip, I got boiling water on the first floor for instant ramen and brought it to my room to drain. Then the intercom told whoever was making ramen to come back downstairs because draining the water in the room could burst the pipes. A man who seemed to be the director spoke to us nastily, asking why we were doing that. We didn’t understand what he was getting at. If hot water could damage the pipes, they should’ve warned us before we poured it, not afterward. It felt like a complete lack of forethought. And seriously, is it normal for a hotel these days to have pipes that might burst from hot water? lol
