Our room had plenty of room for our luggage, though the washroom was fairly narrow, which seems normal. The staff were helpful and polite when we checked in and out. In the lift lobby, there were complimentary sachets of coffee and tea, plus small packs of towels, hair clips, razors, and cotton pads. The hotel is within walking distance of Asahibashi station, Naha Bus Terminal, local eateries, and convenience stores. A bit farther down are Ryubo mall and popular Kokusaidori, with lots of shopping and places to eat.

The breakfast buffet was substantial, the spa was great, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. My first room was below par, but after I brought it to their attention they fixed the issue. The replacement room was perfect, even though it was technically the same room type. So the mixed room experiences people mention can be real, but they’ll address them if you speak up. It may not feel like a traditional four-star hotel, but I’d put it at least at three and a half.

The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, with tasty izakaya and yakiniku restaurants about 200 meters away. Staff were courteous and attentive. We arrived early, left our luggage, and it was taken to our room while we were out sightseeing. The hotel was quiet, but it’s showing its age since opening in 2007. There’s no bathroom fan ventilation or USB charging ports, the LCD TV is medium sized, and the carpets in the hall and room look worn.

You can see the train station clearly from this clean, pleasant hotel. There are lots of local restaurants within a five to seven minute walk, and the staff were polite and friendly. There’s also a bar restaurant on the top floor.

Seo made me feel welcome from the moment I checked in, and he helped me arrange a car reservation. The coworker who checked me in was prompt and efficient, too. Checkout was a different story. I was thinking of booking again, but the reception staff that morning weren’t welcoming. I asked to see the spa to help me decide whether to return, and they said no. When I asked another staff member about dinner reservations, she was busy with paperwork, and after I waited a few minutes I had to ask her for help. She didn’t seem willing to help. Then, after I went back to my room, I got a call saying it was checkout time, even though I was already getting ready to leave five minutes before checkout. If the staff had handled things properly that morning, I would’ve gladly booked again. The rooms feel dated but are well maintained. The wooden panels are good for blocking out light if you like to sleep in. I didn’t like the carpet color, though it does help keep noise down. You might hear people talking in the hallway or children running around. The mattresses are thin and could be more comfortable, but they’re sufficient for a short stay. It’s about six minutes from the monorail.
