Once we got settled, the room itself was clean and modern, with AC, a kitchen, bathtub, balcony, TV, washing machine, and dryer. We originally booked two nights and ended up staying more than a week, which felt like good value. The train and bus stations aren’t too far. Finding the hotel was difficult, and reception is in another building. Sometimes it was closed, and we weren’t given its hours. The neighborhood is pretty rough for a couple, with strip clubs around. Some staff do speak a little English.

A mini-apartment kind of place, and great accommodations for the price!

The view from the balcony was great, with big planes taking off and landing. Pizza delivery took about 20 minutes. The rooms have a full set of furnishings and appliances, including a washer and dryer. I couldn't work out the dryer at first, and it won't run unless the gas main is switched on. Detergent is sold at the front desk. Check-in is handled at a different hotel, at 1-6-26 Tsuji, Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture, 900-0037, and nobody is at reception before 3 p.m. Smoking isn't allowed inside, though you can smoke on the balcony and borrow an ashtray from reception. My room still smelled like cigarettes, so I suspect guests smoke in there. Since it's in the red-light district, men may get approached by touts.
