LaPause makes a cozy base for a nature break in northern Okinawa. It’s a 1.5-2 hour drive from Naha depending on traffic, so having a car is definitely necessary. The Airbnb sleeps six and is well equipped, and the host provides a barbecue grill. It was clean and looked like the pictures. It isn’t luxurious, but it’s comfortable, and communication with the host was seamless. Check-in is self-service.
There’s a beautiful beach about a 10-minute drive away, and we had a fantastic time there. We came with friends and were impressed by the stylish interior, especially the lighting and furniture, which felt like a model room at a housing exhibition. The rooms and bathrooms were new and clean, which was reassuring. There’s a proper BBQ grill and a jacuzzi, so it works well for families or friends with different ways to enjoy the stay. Being surrounded by nature means there are insects outside, but plenty of repellents and supplies were available, so it wasn’t a problem. I’d love to come back to Okinawa and stay here again. Thank you!
