The children turned little everyday moments into learning opportunities, and seeing all their smiles made the stay meaningful. We came as a summer camp group from our English conversation school, 11 children and 4 adults. From the start, the host was flexible and welcoming, even when some of us joined on the second day. We’re grateful for the hospitality. The villa was gorgeous, a real American-style luxury place. The kids kept saying, “I want to live here!” Although the listing said there were no fans, the host provided air circulators, which helped a lot. The jacuzzi was listed as out of order, but it worked perfectly, bubbles and lights included. The kids’ night swim felt like a dream. We made BBQ dinners in the kitchen and let the children cook breakfast. That was a great experience. There was a rice cooker, though a measuring cup would have helped. We figured it out, and it turned into a nice problem-solving lesson. One room’s AC was weaker, possibly because the filter was dusty, but it wasn’t a major issue. When we found the trash area full from earlier guests, the host promptly told us to leave our bags inside and was very responsive. Some phone carriers had weak reception, so it would be nice if Wi-Fi were available in the future. We’d heard reviews mention bugs, but in this natural setting we expected some. We didn’t see many harmful insects, and the hosts clearly take pest control seriously. Unless you’re extremely sensitive to bugs, it doesn’t seem like a big issue. The kids enjoyed discovering creatures they hadn’t seen before, including lizards, large hermit crabs, and maybe even a coconut crab. We’d love to stay again if we get the chance. Thank you!
