The washing machine and dryer were a real help during our five days, and I ended up buying gel laundry balls with fabric softener, though powder detergent was provided. Toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and towels were there, but bring your own toothpaste and skincare products. We didn't cook, so we left the provided seasonings unused. I picked this place for my father's birthday because we wanted somewhere quiet and relaxing away from the city. We knew there were records and looked forward to playing them, which made the atmosphere even nicer. Each day, I found it hard to leave. In the mornings my father opened the veranda windows to enjoy the twilight. We walked around the neighborhood, talked with the neighbors, and were given moonflowers. Supermarkets and shops were a 5-10 minute walk away, so we picked up drinks and snacks in the evenings. There were quite a few mosquitoes around the house at night, so we kept mosquito coils burning. At first I was a little put off by the ants inside, but you get used to them as part of life in an old house. That's part of its charm too. For our three-generation family with children, being able to relax without worrying about bothering anyone was the best part, even though it's different from a hotel. I'd like to stay again if I get the chance. Thank you for your hospitality.
