Villa Omoro Nakijin

The three bedrooms each had their own powder room and bathroom, and the spacious living room spread over two floors gave our group of three families plenty of room to relax. The kitchen was especially well stocked with cooking tools, dishes, and cutlery. We liked the second-floor dining area, but had breakfast on the third floor so we could enjoy the spectacular scenery. The building is in a superb spot and makes the most of the views. Nothing about the facilities, furniture, or interior felt cheap. The information online gave us a luxurious impression, and the actual stay exceeded our expectations. The manager was kind and helpful. Still, the way in is hard to find, so an email with directions is essential. Unless you ask, they only supply linens for one night even on a longer stay. They offered to do laundry if we needed more, but the washing machine couldn't be used, though the dryer was fine. That's about the only thing I found disappointing.

The surroundings were very comfortable, and there were lots of amenities, including a crib, which was a thoughtful touch. I didn't feel fully at ease in the bath because the shower curtains wouldn't close all the way. Also, the spiral staircase has no safety features, so be extra careful if you have a small child with you.

We were 10 guys, and there was plenty of space in the beds for everyone. We could do our own thing, whether that was having a BBQ or stretching out on the big sofa. It was the best, and I'd definitely come back.
