The location is great, right beside Nara park. I stayed in a shared room, which was good for the price, though having the toilet and shower inside the room felt a little strange. There’s also a shared kitchen area with everything you need to cook.

A cheap, clean hostel that’s easy to find. Very good. Have a nice trip.

You can see deer from the window, and the hotel sits right by Nara’s main sights and the edge of the park. That location makes it alright for a night, even though it’s an older place. The bathroom smelled moldy, and the couch had huge stains. It wasn’t the cleanest hotel.

Nara Park is less than a five-minute walk away, which made getting around to explore really easy. Our room was spacious, the beds were super soft, and we enjoyed the traditional Japanese bathroom. There’s an entry space behind a door where you can leave your shoes. The staff were lovely, and even though we arrived well before check-in, they let us store our luggage while we went out.

Everything felt new and in perfect condition. Our reasonably sized room had a small entrance hall, plus a separate, large bathroom and toilet. A very nice mid-range hotel in a great location.
