The hostel is part of a public bath, where you can relax and sleep in a capsule bed. It has lots of space, good amenities, and friendly staff. The train station is right next door, and there’s a shopping center out front. For the price, it’s worth staying here.

The receptionist was warm, friendly, and handsome, and explained how the public sauna works. It’s at the highest point in town, with the best view around Narashino. Too bad taking photos in the sauna wouldn’t be polite.

These public baths are right beside Shin Narashino station, so the location is very convenient. There’s also a capsule hotel in the facility. One thing to watch for: it’s on the building’s second floor, 2F, rather than the ground floor. GoogleMaps English directions don’t mention that.

I stayed here on the last night of my 11 day trip, and it ended up being one of my favorite places. Just be aware this is mainly a public bath, with overnight cabins that are like capsule hotels. I slept in one, but this isn’t a traditional hotel. There are two capsule cabins, separated by gender, and you need to book ahead. Otherwise, you may have to sleep in the central lounge. Once I knew what to expect, I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was great, and so were the baths. I had a soak before bed and another early in the morning before heading to the airport. There are good restaurants in the building, too. The staff were friendly and helpful, and Shin-Narashino station is about two minutes away. Overnight stay with bath access was only about $30 after tax, which felt very cheap for such a unique Japanese experience.
