The power outlets by each bed were a small but really useful detail. We didn’t have to compete for plugs, whether charging phones or using a computer. I found this the best business hotel I’ve stayed in. The rooms are simple and calming, and it’s handy for both sightseeing and work. Business Hotel Naruto is about a three-minute walk from JR Naruto Station in Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture. It has Wi-Fi and basic amenities, and seems like good value for a stay in the Naruto area.

April 16-17, 2026 (2-night stay) For a multi-night visit, leave used towels and pajamas in the hallway in the morning to get fresh ones. The old building has gaps around the windows, so drafts can be loud. They tilt and turn open a little to the sides, and closing them fully helped. The tub drain also clogs easily, and shower water can pool around your feet, so clear out hair and other debris before bathing. Aside from those issues, it was comfortable.

The walls were thin enough that I could hear people nearby, and the bath was very slippery. There were visible spots on the dingy ceiling, too. The paper explaining the amenities was difficult to read and unclear. Service was poor: even though I had a reservation, I still had to wait, and they couldn’t keep track of the day’s bookings. There didn’t seem to be many guests, judging by the parking lot and other things, so the place felt poorly run. The man at the front desk had a creepy smirk.
