The old-fashioned feel is what I adored most. It’s clearly a Showa era hotel, with carpets, yellow lighting, and a radio built into the bed that all bring back another time. I could relax, tune in to FM radio for jazz, and just vibe. Walk-ins are 6000Y, which is affordable, especially since the rooms are considerably larger than most business hotels.

I had a very comfortable stay for 3 nights. The first-floor common area is spacious, and the facilities are well set up for eating food from outside.

I appreciate the free bicycle rentals. They let me explore the nearby area much more widely than I could on foot. When I stay in Naruto City, I choose Hotel Kakuin. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable for the price, and amenities are set out by the elevator on each floor. Some room locations may offer a spectacular view of Fuya Castle.

The room was quite spacious for a business hotel, and the price was reasonable, good value for money. The amenities and service were average. There’s a fairly large free space and vending machines on the first floor. The carpet in my room was so dirty it freaked me out, with stains all over. It had been cleaned, so it may just be age-related wear, but it was still a bit much. The nearest convenience store was quite far, making shopping a hassle, so it may be better to bring anything you need. I don’t think there was one at Naruto Station either. This hotel is for people willing to put up with other things as long as the price is low.
