The birdsong outside made waking up feel so peaceful, and the setting is lovely if you want to be in nature with your dog. There’s a big dog run and even a pool for pets, so dogs have room to unwind. The hot spring is open all day and night, with a pleasant sulfur smell. I loved soaking there late at night when everything was quiet. We came for a friend’s birthday. I mentioned it ahead of time, and the staff had a handwritten card ready, which was such a warm touch. Dinner was another highlight. We upgraded from the regular course to beef fillet and sirloin, and both steaks were tender, flavorful, and carefully grilled. Some parts of the hotel feel dated, and a few areas could be cleaner or smell better. Still, the many good things about the stay outweighed that for us.

We brought our dog, and it was great that the menu included several foods he could have despite his allergies. There was lots of choice for dogs. We had the French dinner course ourselves, and the fish dishes were delicious. The sulfur-smelling hot spring warmed us right up.

I come here several times a year because sulfur hot springs are my favorite, and the employees are all nice. But they seem to be operating with fewer staff than they need. The same people cover the front desk, restaurant service, and cleaning. I’ve noticed this at other Caro Group properties too, and it feels like service quality across the board is slipping. Is there a way to hire more staff?

The staff were so kind, even washing the towel my dog had thrown up on after getting drunk. We were also able to relax in a spacious room with a terrace and a little lawn garden. Dinner was French, and when we went back to our room before having dessert, they brought the dessert up to us. The bath had milky white water with a sulfur smell. We had a lovely, restful holiday. Thank you.

I brought my daughter’s toy poodle. The facilities are a little old, but we had a nice stay and really enjoyed the food. The sulfur smell from the bath drifted into the room.
