co-ya-do Nasu

I came from outside the prefecture and stayed here last March. The whole building was rented to us, so we could enjoy dinner and breakfast in our own private space without worrying about other people. Both meals were delicious. The owner was very kind and explained everything carefully. It was such a good stay that I’m planning to come back with my baby, who was born this year. I’m really looking forward to it.

My first stay here was relaxing and really pleasant. There didn’t seem to be many guests, so they extended our private bath time. The hospitality was excellent.

It’s surrounded by nature, and they even had insect repellent in the room. When you’re barbecuing, close the screen door and go in and out through the front door. It’s a bit inconvenient, but otherwise insects quickly get inside, so watch out. There’s a private bath, though the number of time slots is limited based on how many people are using it. That could matter for a large group, but our group had no problem using it. The rooms are close together, so conversations carry. Barbecue time ends at a set hour, though, and it was quiet at night. Best of all, the price is low for this quality.

We arrived in the evening on a December trip a few years ago, when it was already dark, and they welcomed us out in the cold. My husband made the reservation, so I didn’t know the details, but the place was completely private and worked really well for a family with small children. The walk outside to the bath was manageable. I still remember how calm it felt and how relaxing our family time was.
