Sanga Nikko

Yoshi made our visit feel special in all sorts of small ways, from thoughtful ideas for our days to excellent restaurant recommendations and plenty of other help. His warmth and kindness made the stay unforgettable. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Sanga Nikko is right in the heart of the village, a short walk from the bus station and shrines. We had a truly wonderful stay. Thank you so much!

The place was spotless and comfortable, and it’s close to Tobu Nikko station and the heritage sights. Yoshi was such a thoughtful host and really went out of his way to make us feel at home. I’d happily recommend staying here.

We only had two nights at Sanga Nikko and wished we’d booked more. The downstairs kitchen was modern and spotless, with a dining area, a comfy lounge, and even iPhone plugs. Upstairs are the bedrooms, with room for up to six people, plus a spacious wash area and separate men’s and women’s toilets. Yoshi-san and his wife made everything easy from the moment we arrived. He shared loads of ideas for things to do and places to eat, and we followed his suggestions. The hike was lovely, and the restaurant he booked for us served one of the best meals we had. It’s just a few minutes from Tobu Nikko station and about a five-minute walk from JR Nikko station. We had such a great time and will definitely come back.

Yoshi speaks great English and had plenty of helpful ideas for our plans. He and his wife rie made the stay feel special, and the place was comfortable, very clean, and in a great spot. We also enjoyed the snack table. Nikko is worth at least three full days. Thanks for looking after us so well.
