We enjoyed how peaceful and natural the surroundings were. The house is spacious and lovely, with all the essential electrical appliances, including a washing machine. Being out in the countryside does mean insects are hard to avoid. After dinner, we came back to find several stink bugs inside. If insects bother you, bear that in mind before staying.

The hosts were so kind and shared great local tips. We had everything we needed in the accommodation, including big windows, comfortable beds, and a cozy feel. A fantastic bakery is nearby, and getting to the major ski resorts was easy. We spent several days snowboarding in Niseko and found the location perfect. We'd definitely stay here again!

Summer at Coboushi was just as great as a winter visit for skiing must be. There's no skiing then, but without snow in the way, you can wander through Hokkaido's beautiful countryside, get an amazing view of Mt. Yotei, or even climb it. The hike starts a short drive from Coboushi, though we walked all the way there. Everywhere around us was so lovely, I kept thinking Totoro might pop up to say hi. The cottages are amazing, and the owners are the nicest people. Visit Coboushi in summer, it's great!

The winter wonderland and the view of Mt. Yotei made it hard to leave. Coboushi is a cozy house with everything we needed, and it's ideally located between the Rusutsu and Niseko ski resorts.

The view near Mt. Yodei was breathtaking, and my son loved playing in the powdery snow all around the house. This hotel/house is amazing. Thanks to Coboushi’s owner and Instagram admin for the helpful service. The kitchen had all the right tools. Really recommend this home 🩷
